Tori Murphy - Founder & CEO
Tori’s dream was to help foster girls feel valued and loved. With the support of her husband and the Rockies, she hosted the first Prom Series event in 2019. From there, the idea of turning Prom Series in to a full blown non-profit organization took off!

Where did you grow up and what High School did you attend?
I grew up in Wellington, Florida and went to Santaluces High School.Where did you go to college?
I went to University of North Florida and played softball!What’s your favorite prom memory?
My favorite prom memory is that my mom steamed my prom dress right before my prom and it did not take well! But later in the night I ended up winning prom queen!Which MLB teams have you been associated with?
Mets, Nationals, Cubs and now the Rockies!What’s your favorite coffee order?
All about that Starbucks!!! Iced doppio, half and half, caramel drizzle and some water. I feel put together as soon as I order!

Cabernet’s goal was to find an organization she could fully get behind and be able to pour her heart in to doing something that positively impacted the lives of others. Joining the Prom Series team and supporting Tori’s vision was the perfect fit.

Where did you grow up and what High School did you attend?
We moved around a few times but I spent the majority of my childhood growing up in West Linn, Oregon and I graduated from West Linn High School.Where did you go to college?
I left the rainy Pacific Northwest and headed to the University of Arizona! Coincidentally Sarah and I were in sororities right next door to each other, but never connected until we met through baseball years later, such a small world!What’s your favorite prom memory?
My favorite memory would have to be spending the morning of prom getting my hair and makeup done with my best friend, Raquel. We were running around all day getting glammed up and were totally late showing up to pictures.Which MLB teams have you been associated with?
Just the Mets! NYC is all we’ve ever known baseball wise. We’ve spent the past 7 seasons there and are excited to see what the future holds!What’s your favorite coffee order?
I was a barista in high school so I’m a total coffee addict! My go to is a cold brew with SF vanilla and almond milk and depending on my mood, a sprinkle of cinnamon on top!
Sarah Wacha - Coordinating Director
Sarah was looking for a way to continue working with children and giving back to the community in a positive way while also starting to travel for baseball. Prom Series was the perfect organization for her to get behind and put her time and heart in to.

Where did you grow up and what High School did you attend?
I grew up in St. Louis, MO and went to Parkway Central High School. I loved high school!!!Where did you go to college?
I left the Midwest behind and headed to the desert for college! I graduated from the University of Arizona and majored in elementary education! I made amazing friends there who will be in my wedding!What’s your favorite prom memory?
My favorite prom memory is when we would all meet for pictures and I got to see all of my friends dresses!Which MLB teams have you been associated with?
We’ve been with 3 teams! We were lucky enough to spend 6 seasons in St. Louis with the Cardinals! When free agency came around, we had no idea where we would land! We’ve experienced playing for the NY Mets, Tampa Bay Rays, and now we’ll be headed to Boston to join the Red Sox!What’s your favorite coffee order?
ICED COFFEE ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!! Or hot chocolate at kids temp because I’m still a kid at heart!
